A quick and easy recipe for a meatball sub. Take you're pick out of the various Sloane's meatballs and add some Scarletta Roma Tomato sauce.


1 packet Sloane’s Meatballs

1 jar Scarletta Tomato & basil Sauce

4 Mini Baguette or 2 larger submarine rolls

Freshly grated Parmesan

Fresh Italian Parsley


  • In a large pan gently saute the meatballs until golden all over. Add the tomato sauce and bring to the boil. Cover the pan with a lid and slowly cook for 8- 10 minutes.
  • When ready, cut your bread along the top and fill with meatballs. Top with sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Place the sub under the grill or in an oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese and toast the bread a little.
  • Once golden, remove, add a few twists from a pepper mill and some fresh parsley on top.
