Bockwurst
Bockwurst (beer sausage) finely ground pork and seasoned with parsley and enriched with cream and egg. Great served as Currywurst or just with yellow mustard. Pre-poached in beer. Best grilled.
Bockwurst Cooking Instructions
We do not recommend using a Microwave for this product.
Best defrosted overnight in the fridge (once defrosted, eat within 48 hours). To cook our ready meals from frozen, defrost in the microwave before following the heating instructions. Do not defrost meat products in the microwave.
Oven
Grilling: To grill a sausage, place under a medium grill for 20 minutes, regularly turning. Oven Baking: Place on a baking tray with a little oil and cook for 15-20 mins in preheated oven at 170 C, turning once or twice to make sure they brown evenly.
Air Fryer
Brush with a little oil and cook for 12-16 mins in preheated air fryer at 160C
Stove/Hob
Pan frying is one of the best ways to cook a fresh sausage: just make sure the pan is on a very low heat. To pan fry, add a little oil to the pan, place your sausages in and slowly cook for about 20 minutes, turning regularly.
