Sloane’s Artisan & Scarletta Pasta is supporting animal welfare trend to 100% commitment on cage-free eggs

Sloane’s Group announces its commitment and willingness to source for 100% cage-free eggs aligning with its sustainability policy on animal welfare. Sloane’s Artisan, uses a mix of organic and cage free eggs, through out its production kitchens and in all their products.

Sloane’s have been using cage-free eggs continuously and complete 100% of using this type of eggs in 2024 and will continue to use only cage-free eggs moving forward to help improve a better quality of live for all hens involved in the production of Sloane’s Group products.

Sloane’s Restaurants has already implemented cage-free eggs for its supply chain within restaurants (Scarletta Pasta Bar, Salad Smith), and the Scarletta pasta production kitchens producing fresh egg pasta for over 50 leading brands across the country.

Bo.lan & Sloane’s Aharn Farang, produces a large range of premium, locally sourced meat products as well as high-quality pasta products and pizza products through the Scarletta brands restaurant and retail range. The group is paying strong attention on animal welfare with its framework on corporate social responsibility programs and sustainability goals which the company is obliged to seek for the best practice in serving customers with the best, high quality, hygiene, and safe products, not only on eggs but all kinds of products.

This commitment derives from a conversation with Humane Society International, NGO with scientific based works to improve animal welfare and protection for various animal lives for over 50 countries around the world.
