Organic Chicken Liver Serving Suggestions

Chicken Liver Pate

Serve on toasted sourdough with a berry reduction (or without) for a simple win that is always welcome. Felicity Cloake's Perfect Chicken Liver is a great recipe to follow.

Deviled Chicken Livers

A little digging found this perfect recipe online. For the sake of simplicity, let's convert our measurements here.

250g chicken livers

1 medium onion

60g ghee (clarified butter) - Can be found in many branches of Makro

120ml whipping (heavy) cream

The rest of the ingredients do not need conversion

Fettucine with Chicken Liver Ragu

Rachel Roddy at The Guardian has an excellent recipe, but we'll suggest a simple cheat to make this a super easy dinner.

With chicken livers, pancetta and fettucinne all available here, you only really have to worry about the sage leaves. Alternatively you could simply buy a jar of Scarletta Arrabbiata. Then all you'd need to do is to fry the livers in butter (gently and not too long) then stir them into the sauce.

Pro tip: Soak your livers in milk for 20 minutes prior to cooking to add to the creaminess
